Careers Pathways

From October 2015, this section will showcase career pathway videos and articles by young experts currently in the nuclear field. These videos will be aimed particularly at those seeking to embark on a career in nuclear science, industry or policy and who wish to learn more about opportunities from those young experts who are currently working in these fields.

Over the coming weeks, INENS will be posting these videos on our website. These will be accessible free of charge.

We are delighted to announce the signing of a Practical Arrangement with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), to cooperate in promoting opportunities for young specialists in nuclear science and policy. The signing of the agreement by Janice Dunn Lee, IAEA Deputy Director General (below, left), and Head of the Department of Management, and Meena Singelee, INENS Executive Director (below, right), took place on 26 August 2015, in Vienna.

Under the Practical Arrangements, INENS and the IAEA will expand outreach efforts to reach out to young professionals seeking to work in nuclear-relevant fields. Cooperation between the two organisations will include a range of activities including pathways to and job opportunities at the IAEA; promoting engagement between emerging specialists and established experts; and exchange of speakers, best practices and information among emerging specialists in nuclear science, technology and policy.
