INENS brings together emerging nuclear professionals to further dialogue on key nuclear issues and to develop long-term working relations among the next generation of nuclear experts. INENS is a global and inter-disciplinary organisation. Membership is open to anyone in any nuclear-relevant field including: Government; International Organisations; Defence/Weapons-related research and activities; Industry; Scientific Research; Nuclear Applications (peaceful uses inc. Water, Cancer Therapy/Human Health, Agriculture, Food etc); NGOs; Law; Advocacy and Campaigning; Media; Any other areas.

Criteria for Full membership:

  • Aged 23 or above
  • In entry to mid-career level positions in any nuclear-related field
  • With between 1 and 10 years’ continuous experience working in a nuclear related field (including internships)
  • PhD students are eligible to join as Full Members at any stage of their studies. 

Criteria for Affiliate membership:

  • Open to anyone who does not meet the full membership criteria, including undergraduate/postgraduate students, and senior established experts.
