Steering Committee positions
Positions on the Steering Committee are on a voluntary basis. INENS invites our members from the policy, scientific, technical cooperation, academic, and other fields of specialisation to join the Steering Committee. Please note that all regional liaisons need to be based in the regions that they will be focusing on.

INENS currently has openings for:

  • Membership Development Liaison

You will be in charge of promoting INENS membership globally and liaising with members, including putting together the Members' Newsletter and managing the INENS Facebook outreach. 


  • Careers and Professional Development Liaison x 2

The Careers and Professional Development Liaisons will be developing the Careers section of the website as well as looking at opportunities for INENS to partner with academic and training institutions to promote nuclear courses currently available. 

  • Publications Liaison

You will be overseeing the development of INENS Insights, our flagship magazine. This includes commissioning papers and interviews and inviting adverts, and working with the Graphic Designer to develop the magazine for print. You will also be working with the PR and Outreach team to promote the magazine. You will also oversee translation of INENS publications into UN languages. Please note that for the Publications Liaison position, only native-level English speakers will be considered as all publications will be published in English and Publications Liaisons will be required to proofread and edit publications. 

  • Regional Liaisons

You will be in charge of PR, outreach and membership development activities in your region and also contribute extensively to the development of conference agendas and policy research relating to the region concerned. Vacancies are currently open for:

  • North America Liaison;
  • Middle East Liaison;
  • Latin America & Caribbean Liaison;

Steering Committee members are expected to volunteer between 5 and 10 hours a month to support the organisation’s activities. They are also invited in participating and chairing events hosted regionally.
