INENS aims to bring together young nuclear professionals from all regions into a forum for dialogue on nuclear issues.
The network itself is all-encompassing and includes specialists from the policy, diplomatic, legal, scientific, technical, academic, research, advocacy and other nuclear-relevant fields from all countries. It is also an opportunity for young specialists from developing countries to enter the knowledge exchange and dialogue arena.

INENS hosted a reception on Thursday 3 May at the Vienna International Centre. The special guest for the evening, Ambassador Tibor Toth, Executive Secretary of the Preparatory Commission for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization, spoke on strengthening the nuclear non-proliferation regime for future generations.
